We first became connected through Barbara Gail, but then through Presley and Hunter Turner, your great grandchildren ... my grandkids.

It wasn't just a good thing when we brought them over to see you two, it was an honor. I saw my mother and father through you and Granny Lavelle, and that's about the highest honor I could give you two, to be reminded of my own mother and father ... they were the salt of the earth, as the saying goes, just like you two are ...

I will always cherish the friendship you gave me, to accept me into your family, and to treat me as you did. Seems like with some of the people you meet, you fear for humanity, but others, you're once again glad you are a part of this planet and this thing called life. You sir, are the people that gives a feller hope, and I thank you for giving me that.

Please look after Presley and Hunter if you have time ... We'll need all the help you can give us. They will remember you forever, as will I.
