Ben “Bud” Braselton, 81, of Mulberry, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 in a local hospital. He was a farmer, a member of The First Baptist Church in Mulberry, member of the Crawford County Mounted Patrol, Crawford County Fair Board, Crawford County Fair Parade Chairman, Mulberry High School Board and Mulberry Lions Club and a U. S. Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was born June 13, 1936 in Russellville, AR to the late Rex and Veda (Vaughn) Braselton. He was also preceded in death by three sisters, Betty Braselton, Mary Jordan and Virginia Mayner; two brothers, Wilbur and Robert Braselton, Sr. and a great granddaughter, Evelyn “Evie” Moore.
Funeral service will be 10:00 A. M. Saturday, August 26, 2017 at First Baptist Church in Mulberry with interment in New Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.
Survivors include his wife, Ludella Braselton of the home; two daughters, Tammie Williams and husband Len of Huntington and Myra Dallas and husband David of Fayetteville; one sister, Patricia Hargrove of Tulsa, OK; Brother-in-Law, Jerry Laster and wife Marilyn of Huntington; 5 grandchildren, Jared Williams and wife Jessie, Breanna Moore and husband Benjamin, Robert “Trey” Crockett, Jr., Sydney Crockett and Logan Dallas and 7 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Len Williams, Jr., Jared Williams, Trey Crockett, David Dallas, Ben Moore and David Hargrove.
The family will visit with friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Friday evening, August 25, 2017 at Ocker Funeral Home of Alma, 917 Hwy. 64 East, Alma, AR.
