Garrett Brannon  Hawkins
Garrett Brannon Hawkins, 20, passed away on November 2, 2018 in
Fort Smith
Arkansas. Garrett was born December 11, 1997 in Tulsa, OK. He attended Southside High School and was a graduate of Tahlequah High School and a member of the Cherokee Nation. He had proudly enlisted in the US Air Force and was formerly employed by Harps
grocery store. Garrett was preceded in death by his brother, Coder Vance

Funeral Service is 10:00AM Friday, November 9th, 2018 at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith, Arkansas officiated by Reverend Jackie Flake. Burial will be at a later date in Tahlequah City Cemetery.

He is survived by Gary and Jackie Hamilton of Fort Smith, AR.; four sisters Kourtney Raff, Carol Guffy, Tory Snell, and Davyn Smith , two brothers Bryan and S'jon Vance and his mother Tamara Vance all of Tahlequah, OK; bonus brothers, Dallas, Ryan, Shawn and Shea Hamilton ; bonus sisters, Taylor, Payton and Kelsey Hamilton all off Fort Smith, Arkansas and his best friend Liz.

Pallbearers are Gary, Taylor, Payton, Ryan and Kelsey Hamilton and Gene Raff.

Honorary Pallbearers are the people who helped rescue and guide Garrett: Sam Sicard, Ken Kupchick, B.J. Morehead, Aaron Jenner, Ashley Burkley, Laurie Burnett, Jeff Taylor and the staff of First National Bank.

Garrett loved the special people who helped him through a difficult time in his life and was so very grateful for the life he was given by their help.
He loved his special moms" Kourtney and Ms. Jackie! He loved music, food, playing games with Dallas, riding four wheelers at the farm with Ryan, making people laugh, eating ice cream and being silly with Maddy and Arthur. And we loved him!

The family will meet with friends from 5-7PM on Thursday at the funeral home.
