Shirley Joyce Hurst, 79 of Barling passed away Monday, September 24, 2018 in a local hospital. She was a retired self employed beauty operator. She loved golfing in New Mexico, Texas and Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents George and Violet (Taylor) Fox; two sisters Pauline Carolton and Peggy Martinez; three brothers James, Bill and John Fox; two grandsons.

Graveside services will be 2PM Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Greenhill Cemetery in Cameron, Oklahoma under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

She is survived by two daughters Angela Woodall of Fort Smith and Cheri Mitch and husband Bobby of Alma; one brother Frank Fox and wife Shirley of Pocola; eight grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; five great great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Eric Mitch, Kody Tackett, Joshua Decker, Jordan Murray, Keith Jones, Railey Mitch, Cylas Mitch, Ken Schmidt and Gage Schmidt.
