Obituary for Carroll L Breeden

Carroll L. Breeden, 90, of Van Buren passed away Friday, September 21, 2018 in a local hospital. He was a retired truck driver for Thomas Industries; he was a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Korean War and World War II; He was a lifelong resident of Van Buren and a member of the Mounted Patrol from 1962 to 1981. He was preceded in death by his wife, Emma Jean (Smith) Breeden; his parents Tommy Elisa and Eula Lee (Knight) Breeden; one daughter Rita Marlene; two sisters Treva and Maxine Lewis; a brother Donald Calvin Breeden; a Daughter-in-Law, Dianna Breeden.

Funeral service with military honors will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Ocker Memorial Chapel with burial at Macedonia Cemetery, near Uniontown, under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

He is survived by his daughter Sandra Parker and husband Richard of Van Buren; two sons Monte Breeden of Van Buren and Gary Breeden and wife Linda of Kent, Washington; a brother James Breeden of Alma; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and three great-great –grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be his grandsons.

The family will visit with relatives and friends one hour prior to the service.
