Gary Dean Thompson, 59 of Natural Dam passed away Saturday, August 4, 2018 in his home. He was owner/operator of Grass Choppers Lawn & Tree Service.

Arrangement and cremation under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren no service will be held at this time.

He is survived by his wife, Melynda (White) Thompson of Fort Smith; two daughters, Tara Willeman of Spiro, Oklahoma, Alecia Thompson of Van Buren; two sons, Derek Thompson of Natural Dam, Elijah Thompson of Fort Smith; his mother, Wanda Thompson of Fort Smith; one brother, Gaylord Thompson of Fort Smith; three step-sons, Wayne and James Bennett both of Fort Smith, Trey Bennett of Tulsa, Oklahoma; twelve grandchildren.
