Richard Paul Jones, 59 of Alma passed away Monday, August 6, 2018 in a local hospital.
He was a blade operator for Arkansas County Highway Department in Van Buren. He attended Pigeon Creek Baptist Church in Mountainburg. He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda (Lingo) Jones; both parents, Albert Monroe Jones and Sarah Myrtle (Cox) Jones; one brother, Hubert Jones.

Graveside service will be at 10:00 A.M. Friday, August 10, 2018 at Hall Cemetery in Natural Dam under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren, Arkansas.

He is survived by his daughter, Ada Johnson and husband, Jason of Alma; one son, David Jones of Alma; one sister, Kathy Jones of Salt Lake, Utah; two brothers, William Lovett of McAllister, Oklahoma, Jimmy Lovett of Kibler; two granddaughters, Cheyenne and Sara Johnson of Alma.

The family will visit with relatives and friends Thursday, August 9, 2018 from 5-7 P.M. at Ocker Funeral Home, 700 Jefferson Street, Van Buren, Arkansas.
