Lewis A. Underdahl, 87, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on July 29, 2018 in a Fort Smith hospital. He was born on September 18, 1930 in Madison, Wisconsin to Andrew and Alma (Syverson) Underdahl. Lewis retired from General Electric Company as a traffic manager. He was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church , a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War and a past member of the Noon Exchange Club. He was preceded in death by his wife Aleatha Underdahl.
Graveside memorial service with military honors is 10:00AM, Friday, August 3, 2018 at the U.S. National Cemetery Pavilion under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith, Arkansas.
He is survived by two sons, David Underdahl and his wife Karen of Huntington, AR and Douglas Underdahl of Defiance, MO; two sisters, Alice Seamanson of Raleigh, NC and Betty Phillipps of Lacrosse, WI; two grandchildren, Amanda Cervantes and her husband Juan of Fort Smith, AR and Andrew Underdahl of Huntington, AR and two great grandchildren, Raiden and Alexandria Cervantes.
