Bill Benson "Billy"  Floyd
Bill Benson Floyd, 85, of Roland, Oklahoma died Wednesday, July 18, 2018. He was born January 28, 1933 to the late Fred and Velma (Minor) Floyd of Dora. He was retired from James River Dixie Cup after thirty-nine years. He was a Korean War Veteran serving in the United States Army. He was a member of Roland Hills Baptist Church in Roland, Oklahoma.

Funeral services will be 10:30 A.M. Friday, July 20, 2018 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at the U. S. National Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

He is survived by his wife, Phyllis of the home; two daughters, Beverly Osborne and husband James of Roland and Elaine Justman and husband John of Van Buren; two grandchildren, Michelle Brown and husband Eric of Alma and Justin Janes of Roland, Oklahoma; three great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; one brother J.W. Floyd and wife Hilda of Van Buren and one sister Norma Costner of Fort Smith.

Pallbearers will be Danny Dikeman, Chuck Robbins, Jim Shaffer, Tommy Floyd, Clifford Mongold, and Chris O’Dell.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dale Owen, Bill Vickery and Dale Coberley and the Men’s Adult Sunday School Class at Roland Hills Baptist Church.

Memorial contributions can be made to Roland Hills Baptist Church Building Fund 400 Creek Street, Roland, Oklahoma 74954.
