Doyle Hopkins, 89 of Fort Smith passed away Thursday, May 31, 2018 in his home. He was a prominent Arkansas businessman and retired real estate investor. He was a Methodist and a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was preceded in death by one grandson, Austen Hice; both parents, James Aaron and Viola (Weiburg) Hopkins; three sisters, Mabel Hobbs, Daisy Zinnaman and Ruby Cox; one brother, Glen Hopkins; two nieces, Nita Kay Cox, Emily Jane Hopkins.

Graveside service will be at 10:00 A.M. Monday, June 4, 2018 at Forest Park Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren.

He is survived by his wife, Norma Lee (Gibbs) Hopkins of the home; two daughters, Mona Lee Warmack and husband, George, Aaron Lynn “Rusti” Holwick and husband Von of Fort Smith; two sons, Doyle A Hopkins and wife, Jamie, James Breck Hopkins and wife, Landi of Fort Smith; fourteen grandchildren, Lee, Ashley and Hayley, Trey, Will, Logan, Cody, Bryce, Aaron, Sabin, Isabella, Gabe, Sophia and Breck; two great grandchildren, Calvin and Georgie

Pallbearers will be Glen Hopkins, Jr., Bruce Singleton, Bill Linder, David Reeder, Trey Hopkins and Breck Hopkins.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial contributions can be made to Arkansas Children’s Hospital 1 Childrens Way Little Rock, Arkansas 72202
