Vuong Van Luu, 88, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on March 14, 2018 in his home. He was born on December 5, 1929 in Nam-Ninh, Vietnam. He was a retired 2nd Lieutenant in the South Vietnamese Army and a member of Christ the King Catholic Church.
Funeral Mass will be 10:00AM, Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith, Arkansas.
The rosary service will be 6:00PM, Friday, March 16, 2018 at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
He is survived by his wife, Thi Mien Nguyen of the home; three sons, Tien Luu of Wallingford, CT and Dung and Dat Luu both of Fort Smith, AR; two daughters, Lien and Kim Luu both of Fort Smith, AR; three brothers, Hoang Luu of Australia, Ninh Luu of Fort Smith, AR and Vinh Luu of Vietnam; one sister, Yen Luu of Australia; 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Hoang Pham, Trang Le, Hiep, Thang and Duc Luu and Thien Tran.
