Freddy Thompson, 76 of Rudy passed away Friday, February 9, 2018 in a local hospital. He worked at Allen Canning Company in Van Buren for 32 years and was a lifelong resident of Crawford County. He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Lucy (Dodson) Thompson.

Funeral Service will be at 1:00 P.M. Monday, February 12, 2018 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Forest Park Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

He is survived by his wife, Cherry of 54 years of the home; one sister, Jan Owens of Fort Smith; two brothers, Bill Thompson of Rudy, and Tommy Thompson of Monroe, Louisiana; several nieces and nephews.

The family will visit with relatives and friends Sunday, February 11, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. at Ocker Funeral Home,700 Jefferson Street, Van Buren, Arkansas 72956.

Pallbearers will be James Campbell, Randy, Mac, Jake and Casey Robbins, Billy and Noah Moore and Matthew McClure.
