Alan Eugene Arnold, 70, of Mountainburg, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2018 in a Fayetteville Hospital. He was a retired Locomotive Engineer for the Frisco and B.N Railroads, of the Christian Faith and a member of Clear Creek Lodge in Mountainburg, AR. Alan was a 1965 graduate of Alma High School. He was born March 31, 1947 in Rudy, Arkansas to the late Cleston and Wanda (Gentry) Arnold.
Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, February 2, 2018 at Ocker Chapel of Alma with interment in Cain Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Crecie Arnold of the home; two daughters, Alycia Haggard and husband Jimmy and Ashley Reed and husband, Derrick all of Mountainburg, AR; three sons, Brian Arnold and wife Jerri of Conway, AR, Heath Arnold and wife April and Josh Arnold and wife Carla all of Mountainburg, AR; 6 sisters; 4 brothers and 2 granddaughters, Cashlyn and McKenna Arnold.
Pallbearers will be Dennis Shepherd, Jerry Smith, Clay Bailey, Kory House, Patrick Schmidt and Blake Smith.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Members of the Mountainburg Clear Creek Lodge.
The family will visit with friends from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Thursday evening, February 1, 2018 at Ocker Funeral Home of Alma, 917 Hwy. 64 East, Alma, AR.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Cain Cemetery , C/O Citizens Bank and Trust or the Mountainburg Presbyterian Church.
