Dorthie Linton, 84, of Mountainburg, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2018 in a Little Rock Hospital. She was a retired nurse for Area Agency on Aging, a member of D.A.V. Auxiliary and of the Baptist Faith. She was born February 19, 1933 in Norfork, AR. She was the widow of Steve Linton and preceded in death by two sons, Gerald Lanegan and Bill Brooks.
Services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Ocker Chapel of Alma with interment in Pope Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.
Survivors include one daughter, Joyce Allgood of Mountainburg, AR; one sister, Sue Garrigan of McAlester, OK; six brothers, William Esten of Collinsville, AL, Carl Hamilton of Strawberry, AR, Carroll Hamilton of El Paso, TX, Lloyd Hamilton of McAlester, OK, James “Tom” Hamilton of Collinsville, AL and 1 granddaughter, Angela Nelson.
