Ruby Mae Anders, 76, of Alma, Arkansas passed away on Monday, December 25, 2017 in her home. She was retired from nursing having worked at St. Mary’s Hospital and Espanola Hospital in New Mexico, and was a member of Alma United Methodist Church. She was born April 12, 1941 in Santa Fe, NM to the late Truman J. and Gertrude (Priebe) Brigham and also preceded in death by a son, James Anders.

The funeral Service will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Ocker Chapel of Alma with interment in Evergreen Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.

Survivors include her husband, George F. Anders of the home; one daughter, Rhonda Shackelford and husband Mark of Hackett, AR; one son, Steven Anders and wife Angela of Alma, ART; one brother, Troy Brigham of Espanola, NM; daughter-in-law, Beatrice Anders of Alma, AR; grandchildren, Chris Anders, Jamie Whitman, Kayla Marcotte, Brandon Shackelford and Jessica Anders and 7 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Shackelford, Anthony Whittman, Nicolas Marcotte, Derek Weinsinger, Chris Croff and Darrel Mattingly.

The family will visit with Relatives and friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday evening, December 27, 2017 at Ocker Funeral Home of Alma, 917 Hwy. 64 East, Alma, AR.
