Betty Louise  Peters (Hance)
Betty “Louise” Peters, 82, of Alma, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at her home. She was a longtime resident of Crawford County and was known as the quilting lady for seventeen years. Betty was nondenominational in her faith and enjoyed watching her favorite preachers on Sunday morning. She loved watching cooking shows and also enjoyed cooking for her family. Betty will be deeply missed. She was born April 2, 1935 in Duncan, Oklahoma to the late Wilbern and Gladys (Reed) Hance. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Leon Peters: 2 brothers, Doug and W.B. Hance and 2 sisters, Joy Boyce and Phillis DeWitt.
Services will be 1:00 P.M. Monday, December 11, 2017 graveside at Peters Cemetery near the Graphic Community under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.
Survivors include 1 daughter, Linda Daugherty and husband Rick of Van Buren, AR; 1 son, Eddie Peters and wife Debi of Rudy, AR; 2 sisters, Patsy Brammer and husband Dick of Rudy, AR and Muriel Suggs of Van Buren, AR; 3 grandchildren, Brad Daugherty, Brooke Watson and Russell Duncan; 4 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
