Mary Leigh Woodring, 85 of Van Buren passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2017 in a local hospital. She was a homemaker and was employed by Phillip Taylor Law Firm in Fort Smith; She enjoyed cross stitching, watching the Razorback and was a great hostess.

She was a member of Parkview Alliance Church in Van Buren. She was preceded in death by both her parents, Wesley and Florence (Anderson) Benson.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M. Friday, December 8, 2017 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with cremation to follow under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home Van Buren.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Arnold Woodring of the home; two daughters, Cheryl Woodring and Vicki Moore both of Van Buren; one son, David Woodring of Fort Smith; one sister, Virginia Mink of Lincoln, Nebraska; two grandchildren, Woody Woodring and Abigail Woodring both of Fort Smith.

The family will visit with relatives and friends Thursday, December 7, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Ocker Funeral Home 700 Jefferson Street, Van Buren.
