Raymond Lee Birdwell, 70, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 in a local hospital. He was born on August 25, 1947 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was a rock mason and former manager of several area clubs. Ray attended Courage for Change Church and was preceded in death by his wife Sue Birdwell.
He is survived by two daughters, Candace McFarlin of Fort Smith, AR and Sherry Redding of Van Buren, AR; a son, Scott Fields of Fort Smith, AR; a step son, William Stewart of Fort Smith, AR; fourteen grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
A family memorial service will be held at a later date.
Cremation was under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith, Arkansas.
