Colene Colvard, 61, of Fort Smith passed away on Sunday August 20, 2017 in a local hospital. She was a CNA in the medical field, a Christian and a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. She was born March 29, 1956 in Greensboro, NC. She was preceded in death by her husband Larry Colvard.
She is survived by three daughters, Genny Payne of Corpus Christy, TX, Brandy Payne of Fort Smith and Misty Colvard of Florence, AL; two sons, Shayne and Michael Bennington both of Highpoint, NC; two sisters, Martha Culler and Estie Culler both of North Carolina; one brother, James Culler of Homestead, FL; sixteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Graveside funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Monday August 28, 2017 at U.S. National Cemetery under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith.
