Troy Ricky “Rick” Edwards, 66, of Fort Smith, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 in his home. He was born on April 12, 1951 to Troy and Ella Margaret (Graham) Edwards at Fort Chaffee in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was an Air Force veteran, and he retired from the 188th Air National Guard, as well as from Whirlpool Corporation. He was a past president and an active member of the Christian Motorcycle Association. Rick was above all else a loving husband, father, and papa.
A memorial service will be 10:00 AM, Friday, August 25, 2017, at Ocker-Putnam Funeral Home Chapel of Fort Smith, Arkansas.
He is survived by the love of his life Naomi, his wife, and his puppy Bobette of the home; two daughters, Margaret Hominick and her husband Matthew and Heidi Robbins and her husband Derrick Ballentine all of Fort Smith, AR; two sons, Daniel Edwards and wife Stephanie of Little Rock, AR and Troy Edwards and wife Jennifer of Virginia Beach, Virginia; a sister, Judy Clark of Fort Smith, AR; seven grandchildren, Madelynn, Mikayla, and Matthew Hominick II; Briana, Luke, and Nathan Edwards; and Ella “LaLa” Robbins.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Reynolds Cancer Support House, 3324 South M Street Fort Smith, AR 72903.
