Obituary for Ronnie Darwin Walker

Ronnie Darwin  Walker
Ronnie Darwin Walker, 74 of Van Buren passed away Sunday, August 20, 2017 at Sparks Peachtree Hospice. He was a retired tool and die maker for Pradco in Fort Smith with forty two years of employment. He was a member of the Van Buren First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Ruby Tressie (Owens) Walker; two brothers, Robert Jr. and Owen Walker.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, August 24, 2017 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home Van Buren.

He is survived by his wife Sue (Bredrick) Walker of the home. Being high school sweethearts, the 24th of August would been their 55th wedding anniversary. He is also survived by three daughters, Bev Ramsey and husband, Stan of Fort Smith, Jill McDowell and husband, Jason, Tracey Lincks and husband, Bryant all of Van Buren; one sister, Jean Poindexter of Muskogee, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Dustin & Emma McDowell, Devon Ramsey, Alexandra Lincks.

The family will visit with relatives and friends Wednesday, August 23, 2017 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Ocker Funeral Home 700 Jefferson, Street Van Buren.

Pallbearers will be Dustin McDowell, Devon Ramsey, Chip Walker, Robert Walker, III, Jim Thomas and Mike Pettigrew.

Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Waggoner and Charles Dutton.

The family would like to thank Sparks Peachtree Hospice and the Sparks ICU nursing staff for taking care of their loved one.
