Remona McDaniel, 84 of Van Buren passed away Friday, July 21, 2017 in a local nursing home. She was a CAN at Covington Court Health & Rehabilitation Center in Fort Smith. She was a member of the Crossroads New Life United Pentecostal Church in Deville, Louisiana and attended Northside United Pentecostal Church in Van Buren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Huse; both parents, Joe Joseph and Janie Ann (Delrie) Setliff; one son, Robert Quick.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Van Buren United Pentecostal Church in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren with cremation to follow.

She is survived by four daughters, Darlene Byford of Greenwood, Tisha Jaubert of Muldrow, Janie McGuire and husband, Bob of Duncan, Oklahoma and Mary Graham and husband, Brad of Van Buren; two sons, John Dale Quick of Greenwood, Virgil McDaniel of Pineville, Louisiana; four sisters, Marie Collins, Dominic Dupree, Barbara Janos and Agnes Fontenot all of Louisiana; four brother, Joe, John , Mitchell and Albert Setliff all of Lousiana; thirteen grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren.
