Obituary for Leonard Charles Hyatt

Leonard Charles  Hyatt
Leonard Charles Hyatt, 61, of Van Buren passed away Friday, July 7, 2017 in a local nursing home. He was a milling machine operator for C.F. Stocks/ Forsgren Construction Co. He was a member of First Baptist church in Van Buren and a longtime resident of Crawford County. He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Lillian (Mullens) Hyatt, one sister, Charlotte Bibbs; and two brothers, Tommie Hyatt and Martin Hyatt.

Funeral service will be 2 PM Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at Ocker Memorial Chapel with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren, Arkansas.

He is survived by his wife, Connie (Hudson) Hyatt of the home; one daughter, Melinda (Hyatt) Branum of Greenwood; two sons, Chuck Hyatt of Greenwood and Nicholas Hyatt of Mulberry; two sisters, Lola Hale of Marble City, Oklahoma and Coleen McBride of Van Buren; four grandchildren, Brittany Branum, Chase Hyatt, Hunter Hyatt and Remington Hyatt; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Chris Keith, Michael Odell, Danny Brown, Jim Ainsworth, David Winders, Pete Nemeth, Vic Braddy and Travis Boyd.

The family will visit with relatives and friends Monday, July 10, 2017 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Ocker Funeral Home, 700 Jefferson Street, Van Buren, Arkansas.
