Robert G. "Senor Bob"  Coady
Robert G. “Bob” Coady, 90, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday June 14, 2017 in a Fort Smith. He was born May 23, 1927 in Las Angles, CA. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Beverly Coady and one son, Raymond Coady. He was of the Christian faith.
Bob was known around the Fort Smith area as “Senor Bob” as he was the original owner of the Senor Bob’s from 1966 to around 1976 when he sold the business. Bob and Beverly later opened Coady’s Steakhouse on HWY 71 in Fort Smith. He had a few more catering and restaurants adventures until his health slowed him down. He loved to sing old Frank Sinatra songs at karaoke and loved to dance as well. Bob had many friends throughout his life, enjoyed being with them fishing, camping, bowling, golfing and entertaining.
He is survived by one daughter, Cindy Welliver and her husband Jimmy of Van Buren; four grandchildren, Sara Becker and her husband Lance of Alma, Hope Lindsey and her husband Sean of Alma, Jay Coady and his wife Carrie of Arkoma and Cortney Culwell and her husband Craig of McCurtain, OK and eight great- grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Friday June 16, 2017 at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith with private burial in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
The Family will visit with friends following the funeral service on Friday.
