Obituary for James Elmer Plum

James Elmer  Plum
James Elmer Plum, 81, of Alma, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2017 in his home. He was a
retired machinist for Dixie Cup for 41 years, a member of the U. S. Army National Guard for 11 years, a member of Alma Hwy. 71 Freewill Baptist Church and a 1953 graduate of Alma High School. He was born August 25, 1935 in Alma, AR to the late Elmer and Jursha (Tribble) Plum.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Ocker Chapel of Alma with interment in Bolton Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.

Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Geneva Plum of the home; two daughters, Connie Smith and husband Buddy of Van Buren, AR and Sharon Childers and husband Larry of Van Buren, AR; three sons, Rick Plum and wife Debbie of Alma, AR and Mike Patterson of the home, Eddie Patterson and wife Shelia of Muldrow, OK ; one sister Lucy Fetters of Alma, AR; 14 Grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Rick Osborne, Barry Osborne, Kenneth Harrell, Scott Winters, Pete Fain and Roger Vaughn

Honorary pallbearers will be Randall Shepherd, Jerry and Frances Osborne, JR Plum, Willis Wood, Ivan Slayton, Randall Peevy and Buddy Robb.
