Bobby Clark Denton, 84, of Fort Smith, died Sunday, March 5, 2017 in Fort Smith. He was born April 11, 1932 in Scranton, Arkansas. He was retired from the United States Air Force. He was a very giving person and loved all his family and friends. He was also a manager of 76 Truck Stop in Van Buren until he retired. He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Evelyn A. Denton, one daughter Margeritt C. Denton, his father Lawrence Denton and his mother Isa V. (Davis) Denton.

Memorial service will be 2 PM, Friday, March 10, 2017 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

He is survived by one brother Leon Denton of Smithfield, Utah; one sister Linda Poole of Van Buren; a sister-in-law Monty Pratt Lowery of Paris, AR; three caregivers Tonya, Amanda and Sharon Coningswoth all of Fort Smith.
