Blanche DeLong, 104, of Fort Smith, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on Saturday February 25, 2017. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Christian Church in Fort Smith. Blanche was born July 30, 1912 in Fort Smith to Elijah and Maude (Brown) Collins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard “Dick” DeLong, Sr. and one son, Richard DeLong, Jr.
She is survived by one daughter, Mary Dale Wanner of St. Louis, MO and one grandson, William Alexander Wanner of St. Louis, MO. The Family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to her two wonderful caregivers who helped extend her life by many years, Lacie Montgomery and Talia Becker.
Graveside memorial service will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday February 28, 2017 at Roselawn Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith.
