Melba Lee Johnson, 86, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 in a local hospital. She was born in Elk City, OK to Joseph Theodore and Dora Mable (Moore) Mills. She was a retired Air Force Recruiting Office secretary and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was preceded in death by her husband Randall M. Johnson and one son Billy Johnson.
Graveside services are 1:00PM, Thursday, December 22, 2016 at the U.S. National Cemetery under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith, Arkansas.
She is survived by her four daughters, Marla Acosta and her husband Rafael of Tulsa, OK, Susan Attee of Henderson, NV, Jennifer Koplin and her husband Brent of Draper, UT and Joni Rogers and her husband Roger of Fort Smith, AR; one son, Randall Johnson, Jr. and his wife Mary of Fort Smith, AR; 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
The family will visit with friends from 10:30- Noon tomorrow at the funeral home.
