Life Story for Charles Lasiter

Charles Bill Lasiter was born June 19, 1946 in Lancaster County. On October 20, 2016 he shed his mortal shell to continue eternity in his heavenly home with the Lord. Pop, as he was known to those around him, was an U.S. Air Force Veteran. No matter where he went you could always count on “Pop” to be forward and blunt and whether you wanted to hear it or not he would tell you what you needed to hear. Above all this, love was always given. He will truly be missed and loved by those who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents Sam & Beatrice (Abbott) Lastier; one sister Jean Marlin; adopted granddaughter Britney Lemus.

He is survived by his daughter Becky Mathes her husband John; two sisters Janie Workman and Joan Hunnicutt; one brother Sam Lasiter, Jr.; four grandsons Boston and Robert Krantz, Levi Brumfield and Dennis Cruise; two granddaughters Jen Mathes and Sharon Rodgers; one niece Erin Gilbert; three nephews Sam Gilbert, Rickey Whitlow, and Tracy Toller; along with many adopted grandchildren, including Mary Brumfield; as well as many other family and friends.

Arrangements and cremation under the direction of Ocker Funeral in Van Buren, Arkansas. There will be no formal service held at this time.
