Obituary for James Harold "Jamo" Oliver

James Harold "Jamo"  Oliver
James “Jamo” Harold Oliver, 64 of Van Buren, passed away Sunday, April 24, 2016 in a local hospital. He was a truck driver for Johnny Painter Trucking in Van Buren and an U.S. Army Veteran serving in the Vietnam War. He was of the Baptist Faith. He was preceded in death by his father Isaac Oliver, and four brothers Bobby, Isaac, Billy and Jerry Oliver.

Graveside service will be 2PM, Thursday, April 28, 2016 at Yoestown Cemetery in Kibler with military honors under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

He is survived by one son Morgan Oliver of Kibler; two sisters Earlene Painter and Patricia Oliver both of Kibler; two brothers Kenneth Oliver of Texas and Randall Oliver of Kibler; one grandson Alexzander Oliver of Kibler and his mother Lucille Oliver of Kibler.

The family will visit with relatives and friends Wednesday, April 27, 2016 from 5-7 PM at Ocker Funeral Home 700 Jefferson Street Van Buren.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Painter, Norman Painter, Jerry Oliver, Jr., John Oliver, Sam Oliver, Leslie Stephenson and Shannon Oliver.

Honorary Pallbearers are Curtis Peters, Keith Cox, Stanley Runions, Garry Fain and Gentry Fain.

In Lieu of flowers family request contributions to be made to the account of James Oliver at Ocker Funeral Home, 700 Jefferson Street, Van Buren, AR 72956.
